**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Technician Support Specialist to join our team at Harvest Technical Services, Inc.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent laboratory skills and experience in performing microbiology analyses, including comprehensive QC work, equipment maintenance, and lab housekeeping.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing daily/weekly/monthly equipment QC, media preparation, surfzone and offshore monitoring supply preparation, membrane filtration, multiple tube fermentation, nutrient sample preservation, and chromogenic substrate tests for wastewater, ocean water, and potable water.
- Assisting in microbiology lab housekeeping, monthly bacterial species verification, and special projects.
Computer software requirements include Microsoft Word, Excel, and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
**Requirements**
- Experience in performing microbiology laboratory analyses, including comprehensive microbiology QC work, equipment maintenance, and microbiology lab housekeeping.
- Experience in an environmental microbiology lab is desired but not required.
The hiring range for this position is $28-$33 per hour, with the base pay adjusted according to internal equity and geographic location. We offer competitive benefits and a dynamic work environment.
