We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative I to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our Patient Access Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assure secure handling and accurate recording of payments collected at the point-of-service delivery.
- Build a foundational understanding of the different health insurance coverage options and the related processes and procedures.
- Handle routine/simple patient escalations and perform service recovery.
- Escalate any advanced or complex registrations to a more experienced team member.
- Provide excellent customer service to all individuals with whom the employee has contact.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
- Language: Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
- Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job.
- Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
