We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Recovery Specialist to join our GRIT team, a residential program providing structured, person-centered counseling and recovery-oriented services.

As a Clinical Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting individual therapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in one clinical group per week.
  • Collaborate with the GRIT treatment team, including licensed clinicians, case managers, prescribers, and recovery staff, to create individualized recovery plans.
Position Details:
  • This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours of work per week with flexible scheduling.
  • Required availability includes one late evening and one weekend day.
  • The team holds weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with an additional meeting on the last Tuesday of the month from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with LGBTQ+ populations and individuals with co-occurring disorders is highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented treatment approaches is essential.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team is crucial.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000.
