Job Title: Plumbing Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Construction Project Manager to oversee plumbing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of plumbing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage on-site activities, including the work of plumbers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure all work complies with specifications, blueprints, and industry standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors on the job site.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily logs, change orders, and material usage.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Mentor and develop on-site teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a superintendent role within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques in commercial settings.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors.
  • In-depth understanding of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices in construction site safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
