GE Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Commercial Engine Project & Engineering teams as a Staff Engineer. This role will be part of the Advanced Demonstrators team, responsible for launching GE's next generation of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of Aero Thermal & Controls integration, coordinating across global engineering discipline teams.
  • Developing and managing cross-functional, technology-led programs, managing interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers, and internal functions.
  • Managing program resources and budget allocation/integration in cooperation with program Operations, influencing programs to meet customer CTQs.
  • Using judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, technology, Aero Thermal & Controls, or engineering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering within at least one discipline: Turbo Machinery Aero Dynamics, Thermal Systems, Controls & Engine Performance.
  • 10 years in gas turbine engineering.
  • Prior experience working with global cross-functional teams.
Desired Characteristics
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in two or more disciplines: Turbo Machinery Aero Dynamics, Thermal Systems, Controls & Engine Performance.
  • Excited about propulsion and sustainability.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
