Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all corporate and facility safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards through diligent process and quality record management.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to all members of the process team.
- Employ process control methodologies such as Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Designed Experiments to identify and resolve issues while enhancing process control and capability.
- Oversee the activities of process technicians in troubleshooting manufacturing or quality challenges, recommending preventive measures, and optimizing existing products while facilitating the launch of new products.
- Develop and uphold systems for performance metrics, failure costs, control mechanisms, quality benchmarks, and product/process capabilities, utilizing tools like statistical analysis, Pareto charts, flow diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Establish and sustain a process and quality assurance audit function to guarantee compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Formulate root cause analysis and corrective action strategies.
- Lead initiatives to stay informed about industry trends that drive enhancements in product quality, consistency, process efficiency, or cost savings.
- Collaborate with plant teams to define process specifications, including machinery setups, operational conditions, tolerances, processing protocols, and packaging requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of five years in Process, Maintenance, or Operations roles within a manufacturing setting is preferred. Experience in Injection Molding is highly advantageous. Strong competency in engaging and leading teams is essential. Candidates should possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent interpersonal skills to support a collaborative culture. A commitment to excellence and a strong desire to achieve are vital attributes.
