Job Summary:

The Unit Coordinator PRN is a vital member of our patient care team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, you will provide exceptional support and care to ensure a positive experience for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors, providing clear directions and wait times.
  • Perform patient-centered secretarial tasks, including physician order entry and chart management.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Receive and direct incoming calls, relaying messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe environment, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
