Job Overview

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at our Nampa clinic. We are a comprehensive outpatient pediatric therapy provider, offering a range of services including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, and support for developmental challenges through our Developmental Disabilities Agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Speech Therapy services to clients, ensuring timely referrals as per departmental protocols.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to gather essential data for effective treatment planning and execution.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans by identifying client needs, establishing both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Execute and manage treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assess client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to meet defined goals.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of client assessments, treatments, follow-ups, and service terminations.
  • Tailor treatment approaches to accommodate the unique needs of each client.
  • Recommend and procure suitable equipment to enhance client communication abilities, providing guidance to clients and families on the use of augmentative communication devices.
  • Educate clients and their families on effective speech-language practices or home programs to facilitate the integration of therapeutic goals into daily routines.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language-Hearing from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current licensure in the state of Idaho.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
