Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preschool Center Director to lead our team at The Learning Experience. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our preschool center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our children, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees. Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
  • Center Operations: Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Staff Development: Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning. Take advantage of our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience at TLE.
  • Business Results: Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations. Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
  • Community Engagement: Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year of center leadership/management experience (required).
  • Credentials: Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
