REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 4 years of comprehensive experience in Medical Assisting
Preferred certification or registration
Availability to work between 32 to 40 hours weekly
Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Proficient clinical skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably IDX or Centricity
Proficient in taking vitals
Experience with injections
Skilled in phlebotomy
Familiarity with EKG procedures
Excellent customer service abilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients
- Collecting medical histories
- Administering injections
- Assisting physicians
- Processing laboratory tests
- Preparing patients for EKGs
- Obtaining vital signs
- Supporting physicians during procedures
- Documenting patient histories in the EMR system
