Colorist Assistant

At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Colorist Assistant to join our team. As a Colorist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences and supporting our licensed colorists in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed colorists in providing hair color services, including shampooing, conditioning, and styling.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and key performance indicators, including retail sales, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing average service tickets and promoting additional services, memberships, and subscriptions.

Requirements:

• Active cosmetology license in the state of employment.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, with a preference for salon or beauty industry experience.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, team members will regularly stand, walk for four plus consecutive hours; repetitive and regular bending and twisting at the waist; manipulating fingers and hands, bend and reach wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms or move up to ten pounds. May occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift, push, pull up to ten pounds. Additionally, team members will communicate regularly with guests via ongoing conversations and consultations.
