About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Nephrology and Transplant Unit at Royal Oak Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with acute and chronic kidney and liver disease, as well as those undergoing kidney and liver transplants.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
  • Develop and implement individualized patient education plans
  • Collaborate with the Transplant Medical Team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required
  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire
