Our 22-bed surgical unit at Royal Oak Hospital specializes in caring for patients with acute and chronic kidney and liver disease. We take pride in being #1 in the nation for kidney transplant survival at one year after transplant.
Our TeamWe work closely with our Transplant Medical Team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Our nurses perform peritoneal dialysis and have a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1.

We require:
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing: Required for all applicants.
- Bachelors in Nursing: Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN): Required within 60 days of hire.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS): Required upon hire.
