- Facilitate access to specialized services, including the Gluten-Free Pantry, ensuring students with dietary restrictions receive the necessary support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for students with medical needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the nutritional aspects of meal plans, promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
- Supervise the Dietetic Technician in maintaining accurate nutrient and allergen data within our systems.
- Provide educational programs for staff and serve as a mentor for dietetic interns.
- Engage in evaluating and enhancing the dining services program at the institution.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in a relevant field.
- Registered Dietitian credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed Dietitian status with the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians.
- Strong understanding of nutritional care principles and practices.
- ServSafe manager certification (active or to be completed within six months of hire).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and maintain effective relationships.
Physical Requirements
The role may involve light to heavy lifting and extended periods of standing, as well as navigating various facilities on campus.
