Outpatient Nutrition Specialist

Job Summary:
Piedmont is seeking a skilled Outpatient Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition counseling and education to patients in our outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients.
- Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
- Minimum one year of experience as a dietitian in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
