About the Role

STONE Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work both onsite and remotely, working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing a Cloud First Strategy, deploying and migrating applications and services to the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Design and implement multi-tier architectures, including load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for the deployment and management of infrastructure.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting on complex issues related to Azure cloud technologies and services.
  • Assist in maintaining the services needed to bridge cloud and on-prem architecture.
  • Manage and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, security, and performance monitoring of cloud-based systems.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on tasks.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Systems engineering, Network Engineering, Storage Engineering, Azure Cloud engineering, or IT Management.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Azure API Management, Azure Application Services, Azure Application Gateway, and Terraform.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-tier architectures, load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
