We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Louis A Weiss Memorial Medical Center, LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Retention Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment and retention plans to meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
- Talent Sourcing: Establish and maintain relationships with external contacts, advertising media, job fairs, and career days to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
- Applicant Screening: Coordinate the recruitment process, including resume review, phone screens, interviews, assessments, reference checks, and verifying credentials.
- HR Website Content: Design and maintain HR website content to promote our organization and attract top talent.
- Employee Relations: Provide consultation to managers on recruitment and retention needs, including job descriptions, transfers, and promotions.
- Applicant Tracking: Manage applicant screening tools and procedures, including interviews, reference checking, license verification, drug testing, and criminal background checks.
- Displaced Employee Placement: Establish a system to place displaced employees within the organization according to established policies and procedures.
- Recruitment Tracking: Develop and monitor a database for recruitment tracking, providing statistics for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the recruitment and retention program.
- Bachelor's Degree: In Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior Healthcare Experience: Required.
- Recruitment and Retention Experience: One year of experience in recruitment and retention.
- Knowledge of Recruitment Techniques: Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment techniques, tools, and contacts.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical Ability: Analytical ability to comparatively evaluate and recommend candidates, prepare statistical reports, and project manpower needs.
