About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems and contribute to the development, delivery, and operation of cloud services for the digital media production industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate cloud services focused on digital media production, including virtual animation workstations, digital asset management, high-performance storage, render farms, license management, and production pipeline management services.
  • Collaborate with a talented group of software developers to design scalable, highly available cloud services in a world-class cloud development environment.
  • Work with geographically distributed engineering teams to deliver and operate cloud services that enable animation, film, and game development studios to run their production workflows in the cloud.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with microservice architectures, REST API interfaces, and tiered architectures.
  • Experience with full-stack development and exposure to 3D frameworks, universal scene description, scene graphs, layers, and models.
  • Domain knowledge and experience with workflows and pipelines for media production, including digital asset management and namespaces.

In this role, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $73,700 - $158,200 per annum, as well as opportunities for bonus and equity.
