Job Summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking an Associate Safety Specialist to join our team at the Plum Island Animal Disease Research Center. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive facilities safety program
  • Conduct inspections, safety observations, job safety analysis, and risk assessments
  • Participate in the investigation of incidents and develop mitigation activities and corrective actions

  • Manage data entry and submit findings to respective departments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and have experience with SharePoint Communication Sites. A valid driver's license and ability to maintain security clearance are also required.

What We Offer

ASRC Federal Holding Company offers a competitive pay range of $71,000-$78,000 depending on experience, seniority, and geographic location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
