Job Summary:

This is a 12-month contract position with Saxon Global. The successful candidate will work on-site in Malvern, PA or Dallas, TX for 3 days and remotely for 2 days. The role requires a strong background in Mainframe, Cobol, and DB2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide system analysis, design, development, and implementation of data services for Web-based systems.
  • Integrate third-party products as needed.
  • Apply Vanguard's IT Navigator development methodology and Architecture standards.
  • Verify deliverables meet methodology and Information Security requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of developer or systems analyst experience.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in COBOL and DB2, including SQL, Embedded SQL, Stored Procedure development, and DB2 Batch Programming.
  • Knowledge of DB2 relational database and its constructs.
  • Working knowledge of DB2 associated tools, such as BMC and Omegamon.
