The Role Ahead

Under direct supervision, you will manage daily tasks. You may clarify instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Assist in coordinating the movement of materials and equipment to work sites and set up the work environment. Maintain records, tools, and equipment, and perform various cleanup tasks. The role may involve moderate to heavy lifting. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.

Your Responsibilities

As a Procurement Specialist, you will:
Develop Effective Procurement Strategies:
Formulate and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.

Analyze Supplier Offers:
Evaluate and assess proposals from suppliers to ensure optimal selection.

Negotiate Contracts:
Engage in negotiations regarding contract terms and pricing to secure favorable agreements.

Monitor Key Metrics:
Track and report on essential functional metrics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.

Ensure Quality Control:

Establish and uphold quality control standards to guarantee that all installations and repairs meet or exceed established benchmarks.


Facilitate Team Communication:

Promote clear and consistent communication within the team and with other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and updates.

Additional duties as required

Qualifications:
This position necessitates a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Polygraph is mandatory to commence.

5+ years of demonstrated experience as a procurement manager or procurement officer.

BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Proficient in sourcing and procurement methodologies, with a keen ability to interpret market trends.

Skilled in negotiations and relationship building.

Familiarity with supplier or third-party management software.

High School Diploma or

GED:
Required as a foundational educational qualification.

Attention to Detail:
Exhibit precision and meticulousness to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to safety regulations.

Adaptability:
Demonstrate flexibility to adjust to evolving conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Decision-Making Skills:
Possess strong decision-making capabilities to swiftly and effectively resolve issues under pressure.
