About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, including administering treatments, monitoring side effects, and educating patients and families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or radiation therapy.
