Surgical Technologist Specialist

The Surgical Technologist is a vital member of the healthcare team at Allenmore Hospital, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including the setup and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
- Work closely with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure a smooth transition of patients between the operating room and the recovery area.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- CPR certification is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
