Position Overview

The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the surgical environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures. This position requires collaboration with the operating room team, particularly under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients.
  • Manage the setup and utilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Adapt to rapidly changing situations, demonstrating both independent and directed decision-making skills.
Job Requirements
  • Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: National certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Active registration as a Surgical Technologist in Washington State is mandatory prior to employment.
  • Current CPR certification at the Health Care Provider level.
  • Prior experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
