Job Summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team in Colorado. As a key member of our Wastewater Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing water/wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and optimization of water/wastewater treatment processes to improve efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads to assist in projects related to water/wastewater treatment, including new processes, upgrades, and expansions.
  • Support detailed design and project management of small to large process projects, including implementation of new treatment technologies, rehabilitation of existing facilities, and expansion of facilities to accommodate growth.
  • Act as a project team leader and direct multi-discipline teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, compliance status, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater process design and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire.
  • Understanding of water/wastewater process design, regulations, and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
