Key Responsibilities:
  • Detail component drawings with necessary dimensions and tolerances for manufacturing.
  • Work with the design team to design tools and provide technical support throughout the manufacturing and debug cycle.
  • Make design alterations to customer specifications and create drawings from reverse engineering customer-supplied parts.
  • Provide technical support and collaborate with lead designers and project engineers to determine specifications for effective die design.
  • Attend die discussion meetings and participate in die review meetings/technical discussions.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of engineering or tool and die design/development experience.
  • Previous experience using Siemens NX and/or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing practices and computer programs such as Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
