Job Summary

Sloan Lubrication Systems is a 4th generation family business that designs, manufactures, and installs lubrication systems for multiple industries. We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble product components according to job orders and specifications.
  • Test finished components to ensure they meet department standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair finished systems under general supervision.
  • Contribute to team effort by completing jobs with high quality, to specifications, and on time.
  • Maintain possession, cleanliness, and organization of company tools and equipment.
  • Keep all work areas clean and orderly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and machinery when necessary.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Keep accurate and complete documentation.
  • Make accurate and complete labor and time report entries.
  • Maintain current status with all safety programs.
  • Operate within provided procedures and safety guidelines; report unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing, assembling, testing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Mechanical ability in general fabrication, welding, combustion engine maintenance, industrial lubrication, tube bending, machinery operation, quality inspection, industrial system installations.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures; read and interpret job orders and drawings as required.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical equipment function, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, system drawings, and parts lists.
  • Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, quality, and safety minded.
  • Basic computer skills including email, internet, and computer and online navigation.
