Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including drug procurement, distribution, storage, and administration.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other healthcare leaders to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services with patient care.
- Lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide exceptional patient care and services.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of medication therapy.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with patient physicians and other providers.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in acute care pharmacy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including drug procurement, distribution, storage, and administration.
- Experience with pharmacy software and technology, including electronic health records and medication management systems.
