Job Summary

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Acute Care Pharmacy Services to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including drug procurement, distribution, storage, and administration.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other healthcare leaders to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services with patient care.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide exceptional patient care and services.
  • Monitor patient progress and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of medication therapy.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with patient physicians and other providers.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in acute care pharmacy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including drug procurement, distribution, storage, and administration.
  • Experience with pharmacy software and technology, including electronic health records and medication management systems.
