Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AMN Healthcare Allied. This is a travel allied job opportunity that offers a competitive pay rate and a chance to work with a leading healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and treat respiratory disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license and Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
