Job Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled Agile Project Lead to support development and management of Digital Engineering applications across the DoD and Commercial spaces.

The Agile Project Lead will manage development sprints effectively and efficiently from planning-to-execution-to-review in an Agile development environment.

The chosen candidate will be proficient in infrastructure and architecture concepts to lead and manage projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
  2. Manage development projects and facilitate sprint releases
  3. Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines
  4. Guide team in time estimating practices and facilitate team estimates
  5. Determine the best approach to project execution (Agile, traditional, or a mix)
  6. Drive team iteration execution, communicate with management and stakeholders, and protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work
  7. Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance
  8. Work with team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks
  9. Provide leadership to system analysts, system architects, and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
  10. Able to do postmortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
  11. Lead team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program
  12. Implement and support principles, rules, and processes
  13. Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow
  14. Maintain team data in project management software (i.e., JIRA, etc.) to support estimates and execution
  15. Presents high-level project readouts for senior management
  16. Support product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope
  17. Manage other special projects as assigned
  18. Other duties as needed

Requirements

Required Minimum 8 years of project management/Agile/development experience and 4 years
