Job Description

This position is part of ABB's Electrification Service Division, which partners with customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability, and sustainability of electrical products and installations.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

The successful candidate will contribute to research and development in power distribution systems, focusing on grid resilience, energy management, and automation technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and testing advanced distribution grid management systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate distributed energy resources and inverter-based resources into the grid
  • Participating in internal and external collaborations to showcase ABB's technology leadership

A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience. Experience with software technologies such as Python, C++, and TensorFlow is also essential.
