Senior Desktop Engineer

FirstPRO, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing desktop support, deploying software packages, and overseeing IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain desktop management tools using SCCM and Intune.
  • Troubleshoot end-user computing hardware and software, including desktop and laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor and ensure that equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Manage and oversee IT projects, such as printer migrations and software deployments, including coordination with vendors and end users.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and the business, gathering business requirements, proposing solutions, and providing documentation for end users.
  • Ensure the resolution of tier 2 tickets within SLA and handle escalations from level 2 technicians.
  • Oversee asset tracking and license compliance across the enterprise.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering with expertise in SCCM and Intune.
  • Experience managing and implementing IT projects, with the ability to run projects independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be personable and able to collaborate across departments.
  • Familiarity with desktop management tools, networking basics, and business requirement gathering.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Northeast region and occasionally to other U.S. locations.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and project RFPs is highly desirable.
