We are seeking a highly skilled Remarketing Specialist to join our team at Stellantis Financial Services US. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the remarketing of our retail and lease vehicles, as well as Stellantis-owned vehicles, at auctions across the US.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Manage SFS inventory from receipt at auction to final sale, ensuring optimal net sale proceeds and efficient cycle time.
- Auction Representation: Attend closed and open sales to represent SFS, make sale decisions, and execute sales strategy.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong working relationships with auctions, dealers, industry vendors, and OEMs.
- Asset Management: Effectively manage assets, including age, mix, and sale-effectiveness, while ensuring service levels meet SFS standards.
- Market Analysis: Evaluate inventory, review condition reports, and provide recommendations on repairs and reconditioning.
- Strategic Decision Making: Make strategic decisions on market values to meet company performance targets.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to identify, enhance, monitor, resolve, and mitigate issues related to retail repossessions, off-lease, company vehicles, rental fleets, and buybacks.
- Reporting and Analysis: Report on auction performance, analyzing market trends and providing key insights.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field or with remarketing venues.
- Certification: Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) certification preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree highly preferred; relevant directly related experience will be considered.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; highly skilled in sales with customer focus abilities; superb time management skills; strong analytical thinker with problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
