Responsibilities:

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Present pre-selected menu options to guests at each table; maintain comprehensive knowledge of each selection's origin, flavor profile, and preparation techniques; relay guest orders, including any special requests, to the Banquet Manager or kitchen staff; verify completed kitchen orders against the original guest order; efficiently transport items to guest tables to ensure optimal food quality.
  • Assist in the arrangement of linens, china, glassware, silverware, and decorative elements for each event in accordance with the banquet event order.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction levels, and respond promptly and effectively to any guest inquiries or concerns.
  • Facilitate the breakdown, cleaning, and re-setting of tables, buffets, and food stations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • High school diploma and a minimum of one year of experience in banquet service.
  • Proficient in spoken English.
  • Ability to carry and balance a tray effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both colleagues and guests.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
