Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in CT scanning and will be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with registration in computed tomography. The candidate should also have a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning
  • ARRT certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
