Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the admissions process, including recruitment, application review, decision-making, and enrollment management.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the admissions program and attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to promote the institution's academic programs and values.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of admissions professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize admissions processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six years of progressive experience in higher education admissions, preferably at a selective institution.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation college students and those from low-income families.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology and database systems.
