About the Position:We are actively hiring and accepting applications for the position of Nurse Practitioner - Med Surg in Melbourne, FL. This opportunity is ideal for experienced nurses with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
This challenging role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to diverse patients with acute and chronic conditions. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and facilitate discharge planning. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and implementing treatment plans as directed by physicians.
Requirements:- An Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing, along with an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a medical-surgical or similar setting, preferably with strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
