This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner seeking a fulfilling career in an outpatient setting. As an Independent Contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours and choose when to work on-site or via telemedicine.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Harmony United Psychiatric Care. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with various mental health conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Offer education and support to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty.
  • Board certification to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active license in the State of Florida.
  • Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
