Job Summary:

As a Radiation Therapy Specialist at Compunnel, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients. This includes positioning patients and adjusting machinery to ensure proper treatment is received. You will also monitor patients' health during treatment to ensure they are responding well to treatment and to identify any adverse reactions to treatment. Additionally, you will take and record X-rays of patients' bodies to determine the location of tumors for radiation treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments.
  • Monitor patients' health during treatment.
  • Take and record X-rays for treatment planning.
  • Collect data on patient condition and treatment progress.
  • Educate patients about treatment options and recovery.
  • Provide emotional support to patients.
  • Supervise technicians.
  • Report safety concerns.
  • Explain radiation treatment effects to patients.


Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
  • BLS from AHA.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in radiation oncology nursing.


Certifications:

  • BLS from AHA.
