About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse in the NSICU, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a BSN within 5 years of hire date
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in a critical care setting
