Key Responsibilities of the Pump Maintenance Specialist include:
- Servicing all types of centrifugal pumps
- Maintaining positive displacement plunger pumps
- Repairing gear pumps
- Overhauling diaphragm pumps
Qualifications for the Pump Maintenance Specialist include:
- 1-2 years of experience with pumps
- Preferred experience in rotating equipment repair
- 3-5 years of general equipment repair experience
- Valid driving record in accordance with company standards
- Proficient in computer navigation and usage
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Strong interpersonal skills for professional customer interactions
Additional Information:
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions. Capability to work in confined spaces such as pump rooms and to climb stairs while carrying tools.
- Work Environment: Combination of shop and field service, approximately 50% each, subject to business needs.
- Training/Certifications: OSHA certification and mechanical or pump repair training preferred.
- Regular Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
- Travel Requirements: Typically less than 5% overnight travel.
- Education: High School Diploma required.
