Job Description

As a Research Nurse Specialist, you will contribute to the success of our clinical research projects by coordinating projects and drug trials, assessing patients' qualifications, and facilitating protocols. This role requires collecting and reviewing lab results, patient data, and lab specimens, as well as administering medications and protocol-specific treatments. You will also perform general laboratory duties and specialized nursing duties, train new staff, and ensure regulatory adherence.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting telephone and in-person eligibility, screening, scheduling study visits, conducting clinical measurements, processing and shipping biological samples, obtaining anthropometric measures, blood pressure, and heart rate, conducting and interpreting ECG and other clinical tests according to protocol, administering physical performance and cognitive function tests, and assisting participants in completing study-related questionnaires. You will also conduct telephone visit reminder calls and follow-up assessments, address study alerts, adverse events, and incidental findings per protocol, and compile study endpoint documentation to support participant-reported health events. Furthermore, you will train, certify, and supervise study staff on study protocol.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess advanced degrees and 3+ years of experience in clinical research coordination. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
