Job Summary

FrankCrum is seeking a highly skilled Time Off Benefits Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate implementation of time off accrual tracking, ensuring compliance with private and state mandated time off accrual policies, and performing regulatory audits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Verify time off accrual plan specifications with clients, when necessary, to ensure accurate configuration of accrual settings and implementation of a new or changed plan.
  2. Configure time off accrual codes in the master setup tables, assign proper time off accrual plans to each client using code filters, create process documentation for adding to new hires, track, log, and audit various types of time off accrual policies.
  3. Accurately calculate time off accrual balances for plan implementation or changes to plans and create Excel spreadsheets to perform mass imports for plan implementation or changes.
  4. Maintain accurate client recordkeeping, including accrual plan specifications and history of any changes or updates.
  5. Assist with time off accrual questions and investigate discrepancies within a timely manner to establish prioritizing customer response and timely communication to build strong relationships with clients.
  6. Collaborate with clients and/or other departments when new plans are developed to ensure all time off accrual plan specifications perform accurately in the current system functionality.
  7. Stay apprised of various state and/or local leave requirements and ensure proper implementation of the plans, including monitoring clients during the new state additions process to ensure compliance where applicable.
  8. Conduct and track regulatory audits to ensure addition of missing accrual codes, compliance with state/local mandated time off laws, pay stub compliance, etc.
  9. Understand system functions, including how earning code configuration and seniority dates impact accurate time off accrual calculation.
  10. Demonstrate an advanced skillset with software currently utilized, including CRM, Payroll Dashboard, HRIS/MyFrankCrum, SSRS, Isynergy, Ultipro, Online Time Entry, Support Tools, Word, Outlook, etc., to compile data for accrual auditing purposes.
  11. Demonstrate advanced skill levels in Excel to manipulate spreadsheets, record Macros, perform Vlookups, Pivot Table, etc.
  12. Assist with performing payroll billing audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with state/federal rules and regulations as well as adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements

Keys to success in this position include knowledge of Accrual and Sick Leave plans, including the requirements imposed upon the company by the states in which it operates, along with applicable federal laws. Experience in conducting audits and one (1) year of employee leave or payroll processing is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Active certifications in Payroll (CPP or FPC) is preferred.
