Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Inspired Solutions Corporation. As a PICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) will assume charge nurse responsibilities, provide critical care tasks and leadership, perform comprehensive age-specific nursing care, and oversee complex medical cases. This role involves documentation, patient advocacy, medication administration, hemodynamic monitoring, and communication with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:- Assume charge nurse responsibilities and provide critical care tasks and leadership
- Perform comprehensive age-specific nursing care and oversee complex medical cases
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams
- Administer medications and manage hemodynamic monitoring
- Provide patient advocacy and education
- Collaborate with LPNs and unlicensed staff to ensure quality care
- Participate in research projects and ensure infection control protocols
- Current, full, active, and unrestrictive license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- 1+ year experience working in the PICU as a Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree program from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross
- Current ACLS issued by the American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider- Advanced certification
