Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist to join our team at Health First. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing exceptional patient care and support in our cardiac rehabilitation program.
About the Role:
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist is responsible for assessing patients' risk factors, developing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring thorough documentation of patient data. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide quality care and achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Quality/No Harm: Adhere to policies and procedures, participate in patient orientation and assessment, assess patients' risk factors, document treatment session results, and respond to changing patient conditions.
- Customer Experience: Ensure patients and family/friends understand the Individualized Treatment Plan, review plan of care and goals with patients, and complete Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes to assess overall satisfaction.
- Stewardship: Manage schedule for smooth throughput, review individualized treatment plans, demonstrate efficient use of supplies, and ensure preventative maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
- Current Florida RN license
- BS required
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- Knowledge of exercise equipment and procedures unique to Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Experience in ECGs and Telemetry knowledge or complete course within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS
- Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP)
- Knowledge of exercise equipment and procedures unique to Cardiac Rehabilitation
Physical Demands:
Able to meet physical demands of standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, carrying and pushing/pulling, exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently.
Mental Demands:
Must be able to interact with a variety of customers, perform multiple tasks in a group treatment setting, and maintain a positive attitude.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
This salary range reflects the estimated annual salary for a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist in the area. The actual salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
