Role Overview

As a key member of our Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of automated flight systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements for autoflight and flight control systems.
  • Design and analyze control laws, guiding them from initial concepts through to implementation and certification.
  • Create simulation models to evaluate the performance of flight control systems.
  • Implement control algorithms within flight software.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of flight software through various methods including simulation, Monte Carlo analysis, hardware-in-loop, and real flight scenarios.
Qualifications

Basic Success Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, robotics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in developing and testing flight control algorithms.
  • Proficiency in flight dynamics simulation and model identification.
  • At least 2 years of experience with C/C++ programming.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Success Criteria:

  • Master's or PhD in aerospace engineering, robotics, or a similar advanced discipline.
  • Current pilot certifications, including instrument or commercial ratings.
  • Experience with flight control systems, autopilot, or Flight Management System certification.
