Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Ramp & Customer Service Agent. As a member of our airport team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of flights, while providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.

Your key duties will include:

  1. Assisting guests with travel needs (e.g., answering inquiries, baggage, ticketing, checking-in passengers and boarding flights) in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Performing below wing functions (e.g., transporting baggage and cargo, loading and offloading luggage and cargo, aircraft marshaling, pushing back the aircraft and deicing).
  3. Performs aircraft grooming and security searches.
  4. Process and secure guest luggage. Files and maintains luggage claims as necessary including damaged, delayed and pilferage.
  5. Loading and offloading luggage and cargo with the use of conveyor belts.
  6. At the direction of management, may be assigned to perform duties of varying capacities to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.
  • The ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
  • Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
  • The ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.
  • Basic mathematics skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.
