Essential Qualifications:
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions in English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Each team member is expected to incorporate San Juan Regional Medical Center's Service Standards into their daily activities:
Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Report any injuries to your supervisor and complete a Quantro's report immediately following the incident.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving are integral to this role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier items using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Assigned to specific areas of the facility according to a set schedule.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• Flexibility to work beyond standard hours and schedules as needed.
• Participation in ongoing education programs is required.
• Use of various cleaning agents, including soaps, bleach, and disinfectants.
• Operation of powered equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor machines.
• Potential exposure to infectious diseases, blood and body substances, contaminated materials, and deceased individuals.
• Effective verbal communication with nursing staff, patients, and other healthcare personnel.
• Compliance with personal protective equipment requirements, including masks, gowns, gloves, and shoe covers.
