About the Role:

Soliant is seeking passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Joliet, IL. As an SLP, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in students across different age groups and educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs in educational settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligible for clinical fellowship year (CFY).
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, students, and families.
