Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting in Joliet, Illinois. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and parents to support students' academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide support for students' academic and social success.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into practice.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinois license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
